A new installation in Gallery 136 on the Museum's Lower Level brings together a choice selection of 18th century English pottery. The sixty objects illustrate the wide variety of ceramic bodies and glazes, manufacturing methods, and styles that developed over the course of the 18th century.
A NEW VIEW: 18TH CENTURY ENGLISH POTTERY
Many of the English ceramics in this gallery were donated by the St. Louis collectors Mr. and Mrs. Roland E. Jester and Mr. and Mrs. Milton L. Zorensky. The installation is curated by David Conradsen, associate curator of decorative arts and design.
