The Modern Body reinstallation in Gallery 215 explores representations of the human form, showcasing the Museum's exceptionally rich holdings from the early 20th century. These years saw new visions of the body within the avant-garde as international artists questioned established modes of rendering the nude. Impressive works of sculpture by Matisse, Kirchner, and Auguste Rodin round out the gallery.
