Pokey Lafarge and the South City Three (Joey Glynn, Adam Hoskins, and Ryan Koenig) of St. Louis have taken the American roots music scene by storm. They plan an infectious, creative mix of early jazz, string ragtime, country blues, and western swing. They continue to grow in popularity and have received praise from audiences and reviewers from throughout the US and Europe. Last year, they performed at the Newport Folk Festival, the Americana Music Festival in Nashville, toured Europe, appeared on BBC TV, and recorded for NPR.
