Paid parking is available in the Museum's 300-space underground Parking Garage, located on Fine Arts Drive. The Garage is open to the public during Museum hours (30 minutes prior to opening to 30 minutes after closing), and is also available after hours for events in Forest Park, by arrangement.

Parking Garage Fees and Payment:

  • Members - $5 daily. To receive the discount, tickets must be validated at one of the Museum's Information Centers prior to payment at the electronic pay station.
  • Payment is accepted at the electronic pay station located on level P1.
  • Please remember to take your parking ticket with you into the Museum for payment.
Accessible parking is available in the public lots and in the Parking Garage. Drop-off areas are located on Fine Arts Drive directly in front of the Museum. Entrances to both the Main Building and East Building are accessible.

MetroLink

There are two MetroLink stops within walking distance of the Museum. The Skinker MetroLink Station is approximately .8 of a mile from the Museum (a 15 minute walk), and the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station is at the intersection of DeBaliviere Avenue and Forest Park Parkway just north of Forest Park.

Forest Park Trolley

Travel to different attractions in the park on the Forest Park Trolley! The trolley runs daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, May 3 through September 28 (and until 7:00 pm Memorial Day through Labor Day.) The trolley makes a circuit of the park every 20 minutes (every 15 minutes on weekends), and stops at the locations listed here.

A one-day ticket costs just $2 per adult and $1 per child / senior. Children refers to those ages 5 to 12. Ages 4 and under are free. Senior and disabled fares valid only with a valid Metro Reduced Fare Permit. During times of high traffic or park road closings for special events, the trolley route may be truncated.
