About Art in Bloom

February 28 – March 2, 2014

Art in Bloom is the Saint Louis Art Museum's annual festival of fine art and fresh flowers, making its long-awaited return in 2014 after a five-year hiatus.

During this popular free festival, you are invited to view more than 30 imaginative floral interpretations of works in the collection. These fresh floral displays are created by designers and garden clubs from throughout the area. Each florist is assigned one art work as inspiration.

Judith Farr, the celebrated set designer for Downton Abbey, highlights a schedule of workshops and performances marking the return of Art in Bloom. The weekend also offers free family activities, live music, and unique shopping and dining opportunities. Museum Members enjoy discounts on ticketed programming, and they may tour the decorated galleries during early-morning, Members-only hours.

The Museum gratefully acknowledges the 2014 Art in Bloom Sponsors, Brown Shoe Company and Mercy, and the many patrons whose contributions support the Museum's mission of artistic excellence.

We also thank all those whose time and efforts make Art in Bloom possible, especially our tireless volunteers and the florists and garden club experts who make our galleries bloom. Special thanks to this year's Sculpture Hall Design Team: Trisha Haislar, AIFD, of Elegant Celebrations; Rhonda Lynn-Moeckel, AIFD, CFD, of Schnucks Florists and Gifts; and Keith McDonnell and Dean Riebling of Botanicals Design Studio.
