Channon M. H. Dillard is a museum educator for children and families at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in art and an MA in museum studies at Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia. She completed a graduate assistantship through the Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Fund at the Hampton University Museum, and an education internship at the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts. Prior to graduation, Dillard was awarded the 1997–98 Romare Bearden Fellowship at the Saint Louis Art Museum. In the summer of 2009, she participated in TIME (Teaching Institute in Museum Education), hosted by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago.
