Darwin F. Brown is senior wealth planner with PNC Wealth Management where he provides quantitatively driven wealth plans related to retirement needs, inter-generational wealth transfer, and estate legacy goals for high net worth clientele, and business succession planning for middle-market companies. Before joining PNC Wealth Management, Brown practiced law as a trust and estates attorney and managed institutional bond portfolios. He maintains an avid professional interest in contemporary art market dynamics and strategic planning for intellectual property, collectibles, and fine art.

Brown graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with an undergraduate degree from its College of Business. He received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. He is a current candidate for Masters of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Northwestern School of Law (expected August, 2012.)

Brown is a fine arts enthusiast with a particular interest in contemporary visual artworks by American artists. He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. His charitable efforts are concentrated in his work as founding director of the Wealth Gap Initiative, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation providing research and resources in support of financial education and home ownership.
