Michelle Shelley-Moseley, 2010-11 Bearden Fellow, is currently Museum Educator at the Tampa Museum of Art where she is in charge of public programs, teacher and school programs, interpretation, docents, and outreach programs. She received her BFA in studio art and her MEd in art education at the University of Central Oklahoma. While earning her masters degree, Shelley-Moseley completed internships at the Individual Artists of Oklahoma Art Gallery and the Oklahoma Museums Association. After the completion of the Romare Bearden Fellowship in 2011 at the Saint Louis Art Museum, Shelley-Moseley accepted her current position at the Tampa Museum of Art. She now shares her passion for visual arts and education with the Tampa Bay community through public programs, teacher workshops, community outreach programs, coordinating and conducting school and adult tours, docent trainings, serving on various city-organized public art committees, and writing educational and museum publications.
