Combining sculpture, photography, text, drawings, and other elements, Dave Hullfish Bailey brings together these materials to create syntactic systems. His work is structured by a practice of what he refers to as “exploratory geography.” Bailey is the 2018–2019 Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Teaching Fellow at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, and his work is featured in Currents 117.
The exhibition is sponsored in part by the Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Endowment Fund.
