SUMMARY:Evening for Educators
DESCRIPTION:This event is designed to celebrate educators! The evening will include an opportunity to view the exhibition Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan\, a mosaic-making demonstration by local artist Sue Giannotti\, information on all the Museum’s programs and resources for teachers and students\, light refreshments (while supplies last)\, and the opportunity to view the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Picture the Music display featuring 100 artworks by K–8 students. Drinks and additional food will be available for purchase\, and there will be a St. Louis Classical Guitar: Music and Antiquities concert from 7–8 pm. \nThis is a drop-in style event. Educators may come for a portion of the event or stay for the whole duration. \nWhen you arrive\, please check in at the Evening for Educators welcome table in Sculpture Hall to pick up a schedule of events and free tickets to visit Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan.
