The St. Louis Audubon Society’s Mitch Leachman will present an introduction to how native plants can be used in most any space to create attractive, interesting and functional replicas of natural habitats, benefiting the animals, the community, and yourself. He will define naturescaping, including its benefits, outline the four key elements of a functional habitat, and provide examples ways of creating those habitat elements in residential spaces.
