DESCRIPTION:Aso Oke: Prestige Cloth from Nigeria explores textiles created by Yoruba weavers in southwestern Nigeria that were fashioned into clothing for celebratory and ceremonial occasions from the early 19th to late 20th century. \nCelebrate the opening of Aso Oke by raising a glass with the exhibition curators. \n\nAso Oke opens at 10 am in the Carolyn C. and William A. McDonnell Gallery 100. No tickets are required to see the exhibition.\nCocktails available for purchase from 5 pm to 7 pm in Sculpture Hall.
