ST. LOUIS, May 9, 2019—Sabrina Lovett recently joined the Saint Louis Art Museum as head of exhibitions, a new position that will oversee the exhibitions staff and coordinate work with other museum departments.
Lovett worked for 10 years at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, most recently as exhibitions manager. In that role, she managed about 30 exhibitions annually that varied in size, time period and media. She also instituted an innovative business model for touring LACMA’s permanent collection.
“Sabrina boasts extensive experience, as well as a keen eye for detail that will be essential as we continue develop diverse and engaging exhibitions,” said Jeanette Fausz, the museum’s assistant director for exhibitions and collections. “We are thrilled to welcome such a talented museum professional to St. Louis.”
Lovett is completing a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University, from which she also received a bachelor’s degree in art history.
