NOTES
This chair is a carefully designed composition of parts reduced to a minimum. Its success rests on its supreme balance and subtle refinements of form, such as the swell and taper of the spindles and the sensual shaping of the seat plank. This modern-looking chair was crafted by hand in the workshop of the Japanese-American woodworker George Nakashima.
