[2] See note [1]. Invoice addressed to Mr. Lopata from James Trigg dated January 22, 1976 [SLAM document files]. When Mr. and Mrs. Lopata gave the enamel to the Museum, Mr. Lopata reconfirmed their acquisition of the enamel at the 1975 auction [handwritten notes on a letter dated July 11, 1989, SLAM document files].
