Knoedler & Co., “Sold Numerical” inventory card for stock number WCA3272, Getty Research Institute, Knoedler Gallery Archive]. The pastel was in an exhibition at E.J. Wisselingh & Co. from April 19–June 24, 1961, but the ownership of the drawing is not indicated. It is unclear if the work was on consignment or if it was in Wisselingh’s inventory at that time.
