NOTES
Challenging the uniformity of mass production and experimenting with common industrial materials are hallmarks of Gaetano Pesce's designs. Here, pliable fiberglass is impregnated with resin, draped over a clothesline and block of wood, and sat on to create a stiff chair. Variations in the folds and the imprints left by the chair's initial occupant achieve the desirable individual nuances that are characteristic of handmade production.
