1922 - 1924
Kalebdjian Frères, Paris, France, purchased at auction of the MacGregor Collection, Sotheby's, London, lot no. 1675 [1]
1924 -
Saint Louis Art Museum, purchased from Kalebdjian Frères [2]
Notes:
[1] In this sale, seven sculptors' models in limestone were sold in lots 1673 through 1677. In an annotated copy of the catalogue, "Kalebdjian" is handwritten next to lots 1674 through 1677. Presumably "Kalebdjian" is one of the owners of Kalebdjian Frères and the models were purchased for stock, rather than the dealer's private collection ["Catalogue of The MacGregor Collection of Egyptian Antiquities." Sotheby's, London, June 26 to July 6, 1922, lot no. 1675, plate XLIII, annotated copy in the Richardson Library, Saint Louis Art Museum].
