[2] The Museum's Accession Record and Minutes from the acquisition meeting both cite Earl Stendahl as the owner. However, a letter dated May 29, 1950 from the Museum to Stendahl suggests the Museum had received an invoice for 84-86:1950 from Joseph W. Damman. A letter from Stendahl to the Museum dated June 1, 1950 confirmed that Joseph W.
