NOTES
These moccasins present classic Tsistsistas (Cheyenne) beadwork of the highest quality. The strong white background, the triangle-shaped “tipi with doors” motif along the border, and the secondary hexagon design with a central window on the tip of the toe all speak to the Tsistsistas tradition. The back of the moccasin reveals another feature of Tsistsistas style: a thin contrasting vertical row of beads on the heel.
