Adefolakunmi (Fola) Adenugba: Collecting International Black Contemporary Art
Friends of African American Art are invited to a presentation by Adefolakunmi (Fola) Adenugba, founder of ISE-DA, an art advisory firm that seeks to cultivate Black collectors and develop a holistic approach to cultural stewardship of Black contemporary art from around the world. She will discuss her efforts to grow the cultural and social well-being of Black communities through art collecting. Ms. Adenugba holds an MA from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art and a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She has been a panelist in Miami Art Week, has been featured on PBS to discuss Afrofuturism, and was named a member of the Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2024.
