Adult Workshop—Discovering the Ancient Roman Scentscape
Step into the world of ancient Rome through one of the most evocative senses: smell. Participants will take a tour of Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan, guided by Hannah Segrave, associate curator of European art to 1800, then transition into a hands-on workshop led by Aurelia Beye, founder of Aurelia Aromatica. Beye will guide participants as they explore scents specially formulated to replicate the smells of ancient Rome and create their own custom perfume blend.
Registration is required for this free workshop.
Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.
