ASL Tour—African Art Collection
Join the newest DEAF, Inc. docent, Sonya Smith, and learn more about the highlights of the SLAM African art collection. Featuring artwork from the Yoruba culture (current-day Nigeria, Benin, and Togo), this tour offers an excellent introduction to modern African art and celebrates the elaborate wood craftsmanship of African artists, including ceremonial masks, decorative pieces, and prestige garments.
This tour is designed for Deaf and hard of hearing attendees and will be conducted in ASL (American Sign Language). Please register using the link below.
