Make your movie nights memorable this summer and escape to the At Home Film Series. We may not be able to gather on Art Hill, but we can still come together (virtually) to enjoy films, food, and fun on Friday nights in July. Join the pre-movie Watch Party starting at 8:30 pm and then travel to Singapore with Crazy Rich Asians.

Crazy Rich Asians-inspired Cocktail and Mocktail

Make your own delicious drink to enjoy during the movie. Pick up these ingredients before Friday night and then catch a cocktail-making demonstration from SLAM Events during our pre-movie Watch Party.

  • Singapore Shandy Cocktail
    1 part Chilled Ginger Beer
    2 parts Chilled Lager (such as Schlafly Summer Lager)
    1 Lemon
    Mint Sprigs

    In a mixing glass, add lemon slices and gently muddle. Add the ginger beer and lager. Pour mixture into a rocks glass with ice and garnish with a lemon slice and mint leaf.

  • Singapore Sling Mocktail 
    2 oz Orange Juice
    2 oz Pineapple Juice
    1 oz Lime Juice
    Dash of Grenadine
    Urban Chestnut Sparkling Hop Water with Ginger
    Maraschino Cherry Garnish
    Rosemary Skewer

    In a cocktail shaker with ice, add the dash of grenadine and the orange, pineapple, and lime juices. Shake well.
    Pour the juice into a highball glass with ice. Top off with club soda. Add the cherry and rosemary garnish.

  • Gather these materials before the pre-movie Watch Party to create your flowers while you watch the demonstration.

    • Coffee filters of any size (other options: tissue paper, lightweight paper)
    • Material to build your flower on. Options include:
      • Wire
      • Toothpick
      • Stick
      • Skewer
    • Pencil
    • Scissors
    • Glue
    • Tape
    • Watercolor paint or food coloring
    • Markers
    • Colored pencils
