Black History Month Tour
In honor of Black History Month, SLAM curators will offer tours on Fridays in February spotlighting different works by Black artists in SLAM’s permanent collection. This week, Genevieve Cortinovis, the Andrew W. Mellon Associate Curator of Decorative Arts and Design, will give the tour, focusing on the 1959 textile Golden Harvest designed by Althea McNish.
Tours begin at the Sculpture Hall welcome desk. No reservation is required.
