Drop-in Collection Tour: Slow Art
Held each April since 2010, Slow Art Day is a global event with the mission to help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. People gather all over the world at museums and galleries to look at art slowly together. The Drop-in Collection Tours on April 1 and April 2 will invite participants to engage in guided looking exercises to focus on art and the art of seeing, followed by a discussion of the experience. Tours begin at the Information Center in Sculpture Hall and are limited to 10 visitors per tour on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Museum also offers virtual Slow Art experiences that can be enjoyed anytime and from anywhere.
