Drop-in Tour with The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis—White Christmas
Join a guided tour of SLAM’s collection inspired by White Christmas, which examines themes of homecoming, community, nostalgia, friendship, service, and the longing for home during the holiday season. This tour is offered in partnership with The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
White Christmas will be performed at The Rep from December 2–23, 2026.
About the program
Make your season merry and bright with Irving Berlin’s White Christmas! The classic holiday film comes to life in this heartwarming musical that sparkles when two army buddies turned entertainers team up with a singing sister act to save a snowless rural Vermont inn—and discover love along the way. Featuring a St. Louis–made production packed with show-stopping numbers and iconic tunes like “Blue Skies,” “Sisters,” “Count Your Blessings,” and the unforgettable title song, “White Christmas.” This musical event is a nostalgic, feel‑good celebration that wraps audiences of all ages in the spirit of the holidays.
This tour is an excellent way to enhance your understanding of the production and reflect upon the connections between visual arts and theater. Volunteer educators will meet attendees at the welcome desk in Sculpture Hall. Groups are limited to 15 participants per educator.
