Exploring with the Artist—Roman Art in the Time of Trajan
In this interdisciplinary workshop, high school students will visit Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan and learn about the power of art as a political and social tool and how the emperor Trajan invested in art and architecture to shape civic life in the ancient Roman world. Students will then create their own artworks inspired by concepts they have explored in the exhibition.
