This week, explore your emotions with a special screening of Inside Out and a mindfulness Q&A; a family-friendly tour; and If Art Could Talk, 10-minute interactive performances by Metro Theater Company inspired by Young Woman in Green, in May Department Stores Company Gallery 334. Then, head to the Create Lab to color your emotions through therapeutic art exercises.

Color your emotions in this week’s Create Lab. Explore how colors, lines, and shapes can express how you feel through art activities inspired by therapeutic practices.

What would a painting say if it could speak? Find out in If Art Could Talk: 10-minute interactive performances by Metro Theatre Company inspired by Young Woman in Green. Drop in for any performance.
1:30–2 pm, Sculpture Hall
Join us for a tour of related artwork found in the Saint Louis Art Museum collection. Space is limited, and sign-up is required. Sign-up begins at 1 pm in Sculpture Hall. The family tour leaves at 1:30 pm from the welcome desk.
2–3:30 pm, Education Center
Settle in for a special screening of Inside Out presented with the St. Louis Department of Health. Follow Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust as they help us understand the feelings we all share.
3:30–4 pm, Education Center
Stay after the film for a mindfulness Q&A with therapeutic art professionals and members of the St. Louis Department of Health. Ask questions, share your thoughts, and learn simple ways to care for your mind together as a family.
