Family Sunday—Sharing St. Louis Stories
Enjoy hands-on art activities and special interactive components for kids within the galleries. Family Sunday activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme each time. This week is themed around the Federal Art Project in celebration of the opening of The Work of Art: The Federal Art Project, 1935–1943. An emphasis is made on local community, as seen through artworks on view in the exhibition.

Family Sunday schedule
1–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
In conjunction with the exhibition The Work of Art, this week’s art activity invites visitors to consider the question “What are your St. Louis stories?” Using the blank postcards provided, create a postcard to share about the places, people, or activities that are special to you every day in your St. Louis neighborhood. A selection of visitor postcards will be displayed in a rotating exhibition in the Museum’s student gallery beginning November 15, 2024.
1:30–3:30 pm, Gallery 235 and Sidney S. and Sadie M. Cohen Gallery 234
