Family Sunday with Nine PBS
Enjoy hands-on art activities and special interactive components for kids within the galleries. Family Sunday activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme each time. This week, the Museum is collaborating with Nine PBS in celebration of their 70th anniversary. The event will feature a kids’ TV screening, meet-and-greet opportunity, and special Nine PBS activity.

Family Sunday schedule
1 pm and 2:30 pm, The Farrell Auditorium
An episode of PBS KIDS’ Alma’s Way will be shown in the auditorium. Fred Rogers Productions’ Alma’s Way is an animated series about a Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx and her family. In the episode, titled “Alma the Artist,” Alma must learn to speak up for herself when André tries to change her mural design to suit his tastes.
1–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
Between screenings of Alma’s Way, join Nine PBS for an art creation station with activities and resources exploring Alma’s Way and the Emmy Award-winning series Drawn In.
1–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
This week’s create lab will feature a mural-making art project on a miniature building.
1:45 pm and 3:15 pm, Sculpture Hall
Meet Alma in a meet-and-greet photo opportunity.
2:30 pm, Sculpture Hall
Join us for a 30-minute tour of related artwork found in the Saint Louis Art Museum collection. Space is limited, and sign-up is required. Sign-up begins at 1 pm in Sculpture Hall. The Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm from the welcome desk.
