Family Sunday: Canine Companions
You’re invited to the Museum every Sunday for hands-on art activities and special interactive components for kids within the galleries. Each month’s activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme.
Throughout January, learn about the animals found in works of art at the Saint Louis Art Museum during Family Sundays. The theme is inspired by the new collection audio guide, Animals in Art.
Hang out with some of the most caring therapy dogs between art making and art viewing during this Sunday’s program. CHAMP Assistance Dogs and their handlers will be providing comfort at the Ollie Family Resource cart between 1 pm – 3:30 pm on January 29th.
Explore the many dogs in the collection and create a work of art inspired by many people’s best friend—dogs!
Join us to learn about canine care, ability awareness, and ways dogs provide comfort and may assist people of all ages with CHAMP Assistance Dogs during an education program at 2:30 pm in Sculpture Hall.
