Family Sunday–Buddhist Art and Vesak Day Celebration

You’re invited to the Museum for Family Sunday! Enjoy hands-on art activities and special interactive components for kids within the galleries. Family Sunday activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme each time. This Family Sunday is inspired by the Buddhist Art in the Museum’s collection and presented in partnership with the Fo Guang Shan St Louis Buddhist Center.

Create a lotus artwork and learn about Buddhist traditions with a scavenger hunt in the galleries and special gallery activities including a guided mediation at 2 PM and a Bathing the Buddha Station located on the Sculpture Terrence.
