Family Sunday—Cards, Coins, and Other Magic
Family Sunday activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme each time. This week, step into a world where art and magic collide with performance artist Quinton Robinson, a master sleight of hand artist and professor of magic. Artists of all ages are invited to explore the magical qualities of creativity through hands-on art making and dazzling performances of card and coin tricks. Whether you’re crafting or watching illusions unfold, this event celebrates the spark of creativity and the magic of imagination.
Family Sunday schedule
1–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
Enjoy hands-on art activities and special interactive components for kids within the galleries.
1:30–2 pm, Grigg Gallery
Step into a world of wonder as Quinton Robinson dazzles visitors with astonishing tricks and mesmerizing illusions.
2:30–3 pm, Sculpture Hall
Join us for a tour of related artwork found in the Saint Louis Art Museum collection and participate in a magic trick in the galleries. Space is limited, and sign-up is required. Sign-up begins at 1 pm in Sculpture Hall. The Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm from the welcome desk.
3:30–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
Learn the fundamentals of magic from the incredible Quinton Robinson and walk away with a magical card deck to practice your new skills. Space is limited; first come, first served.
