Family Sunday—Community Bojagi Unveiling Celebration
You’re invited to the Museum every Sunday for hands-on art activities and special interactive components for children within the galleries. Each week’s activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme.
Celebrate the end of a monthlong, artist-led sewing project to create a community tapestry inspired by a traditional Korean textile form called bojagi (wrapping or covering cloth commonly made from silk or ramie). Learn about Korean culture through special activities and performances.
In this week’s art project, create your own vessel inspired by the Museum’s many Korean ceramics.
