Family Sunday—Grounded in Clay Opening Celebration
Family Sunday activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme each time. This week will celebrate the opening of Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery, an exhibition that connects a remarkable group of Pueblo ceramics to contemporary Indigenous knowledge.
Family Sunday schedule
1–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
Enjoy a hands-on art activities highlighting Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery during today’s Create Lab.
1–4 pm, Education Center
Create a unique collaborative artwork, and learn about native clay with artist and Grounded in Clay curator Kathleen Wall.
2:30–3 pm, Sculpture Hall
Join us for a tour of related artwork found in the Saint Louis Art Museum collection. Space is limited, and sign-up is required. Sign-up begins at 1 pm in Sculpture Hall. The Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm from the welcome desk.
