Join this celebration for families of the opening of the exhibition The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century.
Create your own Graffiti Tag inspired by local artists during this week’s art activity.
COMMUNITY BOJAGI– FAMILY FRIENDLY SEWING PROJECT
Education Center 1-4 PM
Join us for a month-long artist-led sewing project to create a community tapestry inspired by a traditional Korean textile form called bojagi (wrapping or covering cloth commonly made from silk or ramie).
Customize a fabric patch and learn how to stich them together! Your unique artwork will then be added to this collaborative tapestry.
The completed Community Bojagi will be unveiled during Family Sunday, on September 24, 2023. Artwork will be on display in the concourse on Level 1 until October 1.
