Festive Friday
SLAM will celebrate the holiday season with free concerts, tours, gallery activations, and art-making activities every Friday from November 22 through December 27. In between programs and visits to the galleries, stop by a holiday pop-up bar in Sculpture Hall to purchase seasonal drinks and snacks. Check back for more details.

Festive Friday schedule
noon and 4 pm, May Department Stores Company Gallery 334
Amy Torbert, SLAM’s Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Associate Curator of American Art, will discuss Ernest Lawson’s painting Road Down the Palisades as part of a seasonally themed in-gallery talk.
2–4:30 pm, The Farrell Auditorium
As part of SLAM’s Festive Fridays celebration, The Wiz will be shown in the Museum’s auditorium.
4–8 pm, Sculpture Hall
Enjoy drinks and snacks from a cash bar while participating in an ornament-decorating art activity during SLAM Social.
4:30–5:30 pm, Grigg Gallery
A vocal quartet from Early Music Missouri will be performing music for the Christmas season from the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries.
6–8 pm, Grigg Gallery
Black Tulip Chorale will perform two 45-minute holiday-themed performances.
