Fiber Fun! Stitching and Weaving Teacher Workshop
In this fiber-focused teacher workshop, participants will explore examples of weaving, embroidery, and mixed media on view at the Museum. Through hands-on workshops, teachers will then have the opportunity to experiment with traditional stitching and weaving techniques, as well as contemporary applications. Teachers will leave with resources, lesson ideas, and ways to adapt projects to different age levels and materials.
Lunch and materials will be provided.
Current and pre-service educators are invited to enroll. Enrollment is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, and enrollment requests are considered with regard to equitable school and/or school district representation.
