SLAM welcomes author Patrick Bringley, whose All the Beauty in the World is an inspiring tale filled with hidden treasures! Seeking a temporary refuge, Patrick spent a decade as a museum guard at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Weaving a rich portrait of a great museum, Bringley shares his own personal journey.  He entered the museum almost as a ghost, silent and practically invisible, but soon found his voice and his tribe.

When arriving for the event, please enter through the East Building or the Garage. The doors of the Main Building will not be open.

Do I really need to reserve tickets in advance? While we cannot guarantee availability, we expect same-day tickets will be available for each of the lectures and book club events.
