In her new book The Club, Dasal uncovers the history of the American Girls’ Club in Paris, a women-only residence opened in 1893 that became a vital hub for ambitious American artists abroad. At a time when the Eiffel Tower was newly built and the City of Light was flourishing, the Club offered a rare space for creative women to grow.
Join Dasal as she introduces the philanthropists who made the Club possible and the extraordinary women it welcomed—artists, suffragists, and thinkers who crossed paths with figures like Auguste Rodin and Gertrude Stein—revealing how this remarkable community helped shape the future of women in the arts.
