During a transformative era for American sculpture, St. Louis became an unexpected hub for emerging female talent. Some artists built their entire careers in the city, while others passed through briefly, creating landmark works that defined their legacies. Join Amy Torbert for an engaging look at the Museum’s collection, featuring pieces by Clara Pfeifer Garrett, Nancy Coonsman Hahn, Evelyn Beatrice Longman, Annetta Johnson Saint-Gaudens, and Bessie Potter Vonnoh.
