Member Lecture—Manuel Mathieu: Pendulum
Member Lectures are available exclusively to Museum Members. Join today!
Join us for a special viewing of contemporary artist Manuel Mathieu’s award-winning short film Pendulum with Justice Henderson, the 2023–2025 Romare Bearden Graduate Museum Fellow.
Pendulum is Mathieu’s first film and the winner of the Best Short Film prize in the 41st Edition of the International Festival of Films on Art. Following the film, join Henderson in a conversation focusing on Mathieu’s multidisciplinary practice, exploring the film’s themes about liberation and legacy.
