Midwest Museum Talks: Matisse and the Sea
Midwest Museum Talks is a program of online curatorial talks organized by the Villa Albertine Chicago. This installment will focus on the theme of Matisse and the Sea.
The virtual discussion with Simon Kelly, exhibition curator and curator of modern and contemporary art at SLAM, and Claudine Grammont, former director of the Musée Matisse Nice and now head of the department of graphic arts at the Centre Pompidou Paris. The talk will be moderated by Lionel Cuillé, founder and director of the French connexions Center of Excellence at Washington University in St. Louis.
