About the program
This presentation will highlight how the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park’s commitment to values-based preservation planning shaped real decisions about materials, techniques, and design solutions for the roof and how it will ensure that this iconic property will exist for generations to come.
Gunny Harboe, FAIA, Fellow US/ICOMOS, is an internationally recognized architect, dedicated to the recognition, preservation, and conservation of the world’s cultural heritage. He has over 30 years of experience and is the principal of Harboe Architects, a Chicago-based firm that specializes in historic preservation and sustainable design. He has worked on many iconic modern masterpieces including numerous works by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Louis Sullivan.
