Public Preview—Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan
Celebrate the opening of Ancient Splendor with free tickets to the exhibition along with drinks from a cash bar and live music in Sculpture Hall. Enjoy instrumental music inspired by Italian-American greats such as Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra, and Sam Butera performed by The Toothaches in Sculpture Hall from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. The Toothaches (part of St. Louis’s premier jump blues band Sweetie & The Toothaches) are a group of talented Saint Louis local musicians who have been performing nationwide together for more than a decade. The evening will also feature an opening lecture.
Tickets will be available on-site at the Museum starting at 3 pm the day of the event. Please note that the tickets have timed entry.
