Reaching All Learners: Sensory Awareness in the Art Room
In this workshop for teachers, learn more about neurodiversity and sensory-processing differences that students might experience. Discover strategies, tools, and adaptions to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible arts classroom. The workshop will include research-based presentations from Different Dynamics, hands-on activities, and dialogue with professionals in the field as well as workshop colleagues.
A boxed meal and materials for the workshop will be provided.
Applying for the event
Current and preservice educators are invited to enroll. Enrollment is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, and enrollment requests are considered with regard to equitable school and/or school district representation.
