Rescheduled—Dog Days of Summer

Bring your dog to SLAM’s Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden for the ulti-mutt evening of fun! Dog Days of Summer will offer a range of activities fit for human and dog alike.

Dog Days of Summer schedule
4–8 pm, Bubble Hub: Dog-friendly Atomic Bubbles
Pop into the Bubble Hub and let your furry friend play in peanut butter–scented bubbles from Atomic Bubbles.
4–8 pm, Pet caricatures
Join Caricature STL to have a custom portrait created of you and your pet.
4–8 pm, Self-guided art walk
Explore art in the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden at your own pace.
4–8 pm, Dog photo op
Strike a pose! Capture the paw-fect moment with art-themed photo ops.
4–8 pm, Dog dance party
Party with your pup to the tunes of DJ Jillian.
4–8 pm, Hydration station (cash bar)
Recharge and refresh at the cash bar with drinks, light snacks, and pup cups.
4–8 pm, Art Making
Make an everyday essential sparkle, and bedazzle your own bag holder!
5–7 pm, Stray Rescue
Meet some friendly pups searching for their fur-ever family!
5:30 pm, Group guided walk
Join a volunteer educator for a scenic walk through the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden and around the Museum’s grounds.
6:30 pm, Costume contest showcase
Show off your dog’s best art-inspired look. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place.

About the program
Please monitor your dogs’ health and behavior and attend responsibly. Any leashed, vaccinated, well-socialized dog three months or older is welcome to attend this outdoor event. Dogs are not permitted inside the Museum, with the exception of service dogs. The Sculpture Garden is accessible around either side of the building, and the path will be clearly marked with paw prints.
