Romeo and Zooliet Preshow with St. Louis Shakespeare Festival
Explore the connections between theater and visual art in partnership with the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival! School groups attending matinee performances of Romeo and Zooliet on October 2 or 9 are invited to a special preshow program at SLAM. The program will begin with an introduction to Romeo and Zooliet led by members of the cast, followed by a gallery scavenger hunt inspired by the play. Afterward, groups can continue to Shakespeare Glen for the matinee performance.
Romeo and Zooliet is an 80-minute, family-friendly reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic story, featuring music, humor, and a happy ending. Tickets to the matinee performances and more information about the production are available through the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival.
Advance registration for the Museum preshow program is required to ensure space and availability. Transportation assistance is available for qualifying schools.
Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.
