Self-Discovery, Connection, and Empathy in the Art Museum
There are more ways that you might imagine to engage with art, including strategies that can expand upon and enhance familiar experiences of looking at the art and reading the label. Our experiences with art have the potential to teach us something about ourselves, connect with ideas that are bigger than ourselves, and build deeper connections with others in our communities. Enjoy new ways of engaging with art during this participatory and engaging journey of self-discovery across the Museum’s collection!
Mike Murawski is an educator and author of Museums as Agents of Change. The book will be on sale in the Museum Shop and Murawski will be available to sign books immediately following the program.
